The show proposes an extended definition of architectural production as a "work in progress" in itself; where research and design overlap and interweave through the modes of teaching and practice.

The show will focus on two types of work, drawn both from the practices and from the work of the students that they have taught:
- Research work: exploring how research is used to solve design problems and to open up new possibilities.
- Process and Progress work: investigating a range of design tools and teaching methodologies.

The practices in the group were set up in in London in the aftermath of the global financial crisis, use research within their design work, and each is involved in teaching in a different London school of architecture.
