Trading since 1879 and recently named one of the world's best food markets by the Financial Times, Chapel Market is a much-loved institution. We worked with traders, local businesses, and Islington Council — funded by the Mayor of London — on a joint plan to make it fit for the future, delivering a new canopy for events and guest markets, upgraded pitches with a new hot food zone, street trees, dwell spaces, a wash-up facility for traders, and wayfinding throughout in collaboration with BOB Design.
