We have completed the deep retrofit and extension of this 1990s office block in Bankside for Manhattan Loft Corporation.
The 9,500 sq ft workspace now achieves an EPC rating of A and is fully let. Gas-fired boilers have been replaced with air source heat pumps; inaccessible flat roofs converted to rainwater-irrigated planted terraces; and the concrete structure revealed and extended with low-carbon laminated timber. New glazed ceramic piers, gold-anodised windows, and a screen of glass lenses — referencing the site's history of glass-making — transform the building's street presence.
'A gem in Bankside.' — Harry Handelsman, Manhattan Loft Corporation.
