Planning permission was granted in Summer 2024 for our proposals for the transformation of Belvedere and Mandeville Place in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, designed with Robert Bray Associates and HTA Design for the London Legacy Development Corporation — now in delivery by the LLDC team and the London Borough of Newham.
Three connected interventions create a new green link between North Park and South Park: the Green Spine, a tree-lined route with SuDS rain gardens and segregated cycle path; Belvedere Public Realm at the Park's highest point; and an enhanced event space at Mandeville Place. Proposals were developed through extensive community engagement following LLDC's framework for creating places that work for women and girls.
